But by the grace of God I am what I am,
1 Cor 15:10
and his grace to me has not been ineffective.
It’s a challenge to let God work in my life. And I realize that this is a common journey for most everyone. We want to be in control.
For better or worse, God has set it up so that each of us needs to learn patience, humility, and acceptance. I’m still on my journey to accept that God indeed loves me, unconditionally, and only wants the best for me.
That’s hard for me to accept.
But only God can see the complete arc of my role in the world – in this life and the next. So if it seems like hardship at times, I need to be patient.
And trust.
