It is good to give thanks

I realize that many of my prayers are invocations. Pleading.

I often forget to be grateful for everything I’ve been given in my life. So starting with this Lent, I’ going to begin my prayers with gratitude.

It’s simple: “Thank you, Lord, for your generous love.”

Perhaps I’ll look at something similar to the Gratitude Rosary – That was a powerful exercise, worth doing again.

Thank you, Lord, for the many blessings you have given me and my family. I don’t recognize that enough.
