What’s the Transfiguration about, really? And why is it so important that we should dedicate one of the Luminous Mysteries and a Sunday to it?
It’s about God’s direct declaration that Jesus, indeed, is His Son. Despite what Jesus might be saying to His followers, this is God speaking.

I imagine if God was to speak directly to me, as a voice from the clouds or in a dream: “Jesus is my Son. Follow Him.”
Do I act as if that’s really true? I say I do as a professed Christian, but do I act that way?
How should I change my life, God?
