Jesus is risen! Christus resurrexit!
But, honestly, this isn’t about an event which happened nearly 2,000 years ago. No, it’s about what’s happening now.
Today.
Our Lord has risen because He assures us of the promise of eternal life. And I would argue that His most important lessons are those which are yet to come during this Easter season.
Are we listening?
This year it feels like we’re in the middle of The Lost April. For me, Lent 2020 has been an incredible dryness, loss, isolation.
But today, Jesus assures us that our lives are eternal. And that our decisions here in this life matter.
Are we ready to learn?
